Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge

Another giant project in the world. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is a giant proposed series of bridges and tunnels in the world. It will be the biggest and longest in Asia. Full length of 29 kilometre or about 18 miles. The giant bridge would connect the west side of Hong Kong with Macau and the neighbouring city of Zhuhai, situated on the west side of the Pearl River Delta, and part of mainland China's southern industrial powerhouse. This giant bridge is expected to cost US $2 billion to $3.7 billion.

With its length, it would probably become one of the landmarks in Asia; it is comparable with the world's longest bridge, the Second Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in the United States, which is 38.4 kilometers long.
